This project will feature lush vegetation and views overlooking Dian Lake and the river. It mixes an upscale residential development with an urban retail/entertainment destination offering entertainment, shopping, live-work facilities, and a boutique hotel. Buildings of varying character and scale have been designed to give life to the eastern street façade. To capture the river’s stunning view and reduce the podium scale, there are a series of dining terraces between the food and beverage buildings. Each zone is a distinct experience with a variety of spaces inspired by European urban streets and plazas. Outdoor features include reflecting pools, abundant landscaping, and verandahs to take advantage of Kunming’s temperate climate. As a future destination for Kunming, this modern, tropical resort will offer an unforgettable experience in which to live, work and play for all ages.
