LAGUARDA.LOW ARCHITECTS has completed construction on Thaihot Plaza, a new three million square foot mall and outdoor shopping center in Fuzhou, China. The flagship retail center’s striking, contemporary design animates the site and creates a central commercial hub for the nearby residential and commercial districts. In addition to an eight-story indoor mall, LLA’s design features a sunken plaza surrounded by restaurants and shops to serve as a gathering and social space for the surrounding community.
