Selected Project
Tianjin K11 SELECT
K11 SELECT takes consumers on a creative journey by integrating "Art, Humanities, and Nature" into an immersive customer experience. Focusing on the positioning of "Future Life Experimental Ground", elements of the future and technology enhance the experience. Inspired by Tianjin's unique canal culture, Laguarda.Low's design concept of "A River of Discovery" creates a new urban organism. The interior design is shaped like voids in nature, carved by the flow of a river. The streamlined flow of horizontal space is accentuated by elegant curves that flow naturally through the vertical dimension by way of an integrated escalator design. Winding paving and sinuous lighting design overlay the flowing curves at different heights in a continuous space to form a hierarchical "river" that dynamically connects commercial and artistic spaces, guiding customers to explore and experience.
About the 2022 China Interior Design Annual
First published in 2005, China Interior Design Annual is a documentation that records the development and growth of interior design in China. Over the past 18 years, China Interior Design Annual has recorded the works of interior designers every year. Like an encyclopedia of design, it reflects the highest design standard in China and is highly regarded by the interior design industry. We can not only observe the "complete collection" of outstanding works by new talents in China's interior design industry, but also conduct in-depth studies of the concepts, ideas, spatial composition, colors, and characteristics of those works.
As the 18th publication to witness the development of China's interior design, 2022 China Interior Design Annual includes a total of 124 works of 13 categories, from real estate sales rooms, villas, residences, hotels, homestays, to commercial interior, leisure and entertainment, catering, office, medical care, urban renewal, public transportation, culture, and education.
