The December 2019 issue of Japan’s 建築ジャーナル Kenchiku Journal featured Laguarda.Low’s master plan and design for Grandberry Park, predicting it “will be loved by many as a new and sustainable city like no other.” The recently opened mixed-use development was led by a master plan that seamlessly connects the commercial facility to Tsuruma Park through a private-public partnership. In addition to being a transit-oriented development, there are a host of sustainable features implemented at the site and the project was prequalified with LEED ND GOLD certification.
