Located in Tokyo’s Machida section, Grandberry Park (南町田グランベリーパーク ) is a mixed-use lifestyle center with a series of public plazas strategically located between retail shops and an easily accessed, above-ground parking facility. The design hinges on creating spaces where the community can gather - for commerce, leisure and entertainment - ensuring the center remains active and varied, and that engaging experiences exist throughout the day, week and year. In addition to premier retail shops and food and beverage offerings, the landscape plan opens to integrated programming inclusive of a library, official Snoopy museum, multiple children’s playgrounds, forest garden, sports fields and great lawn. This premier mixed-use destination is expected to attract 14 million visitors per year.
