Galleria Chengdu is located in the bustling Gaoxin District, Chengdu’s new government and technology sector. The five-level, 53,000 square-meter GFA mall is designed as a contemporary, European-style shopping center with a collection of fine retailers, category leading restaurants, and a state-of-the-art Golden Harvest cinema complex to complement the surrounding big box retailers. One of the strategies of the project was to offer attractive, well-designed spaces that live up to the leading international retailers’ exacting requirements. Galleria Chengdu was able to attract the first China’s first H&M retail location, as well as all the major fashion brands — Zara, Mango, and Sephora, among many others. In 2010, Galleria Chengdu won the prestigious 5-Star award for “Best Retail Project in China,” awarded by the International Property Awards in association with Bloomberg TV.
