Syracuse University School of Architecture Internship Fair

On Monday, November 12th, Laguarda.Low Architects participated in Syracuse University’s first ever internship fair at SU’s School of Architecture in Syracuse, New York. Caroline D. Barrick, a 5th year student and former intern at Laguarda.Low, presented the firm and its global practice to prospective interns. Over 100 students and prospective interns participated in the fair which was held in the atrium at Slocum Hall.

Columbia University School of Architecture Portfolio Review Event

On Saturday, November 10th, Laguarda.Low Architects participated in Columbia University’s Portfolio Review Event, part of CU’s mentorship program, at Columbia’s School of Architecture in Manhattan. Christopher Powers, a 2011 graduate of Columbia and Senior Associate at Laguarda.Low, represented the firm in mock interviews with students seeking how best to present themselves as designers. Over 35 firms and 120 students participated in the event.
