The July, 2018 issue of World Architecture News spotlighted the Laguarda.Low Master Plan for Jining, China, praising it for “not overshadowing neighboring cultural buildings.” Featuring a retail complex, four office towers, a residential tower and street-level retail totaling over three million gross square feet, the project is especially effective at using landscaping to tie together the cultural buildings and the new complex. The firm was awarded first prize in a competition against top international firms in the urban mixed-use category.
