Laguarda.Low Architects is pleased to announce that Grandberry Park received the top award for Urban Design Landscape issued from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in Tokyo. The new commercial hub sited adjacent to Tsurma Park provides a varied experience for local residents, avid shoppers, and tourists. Completed in 2019, the project was recognized for its integration with the surrounding context, improved safety and pedestrian flow and the addition of community facilities. The collaboration between the client Tokyu and the City of Machida played a pivotal role in making this ambitious design possible.
